Good online shop in California

A friend of mine is in California for the week to come and I want to profit of the situation to buy some cleats, since they are cheaper than here in Europe.

I'm looking for Time (Roc) Atac cleats. Please recommend a good online shop that is cheap and delivers in under a week in the Sunnyvale area. Thanks!

Any shop in in the U.S. should be able to ship anywhere in the country in less than a week. Pick a shop on the west coast and cheap shipping shouldn't take more than 2-3 days. I've had good luck with Western Bike Works in Portland, Oregon:

Time Atac Cleats at Western Bike Works

With that said, UK shops do tend to be cheaper for a lot of things, these cleats included.

Is there really a disparate price difference in cleats between OPs country vs. US? Maybe $2-3 differrence? (I'm guessing here...) Not really much of a score to ask your buddy for a favor.

If it were me, I'd get something uniquely American that's hard to get in Europe. Like a Niner, Intense or Ibis frame. Not a pair of ubiquitous cleats.

That said, online shops like CRC, Wiggle et al are cheaper than their US counterparts IME.

Maybe he is trying to avoid taxes like VAT? Sales tax added to purchases in California is around 8.5%.

You can take BART to Berkeley or SF, and at a bike shop, they hand you the part,
over the counter..

Why would he want to overpay for a cleat, in a situation where he has no hope of ever seeing these people again, never mind establishing a wonderful LBS/consumer relationship?
