I will be doing the Twin Sizzler Race https://www.medinaredcross.org/Articl...l-Twin-Sizzler in Medina then back home to enjoy the day with my family. Swimming, relaxing and barbecue.

My family an I will hike ( with an H) to the top of Mt. Leconte in the Great Smoky Mountains. Its a 5.5 mile hike up to an altitude of 6,594 ft, 20 degrees cooler or more. Plus we will view the Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge fireworks display sorta from above. I made reservations at the hiking shelter and plan on hiking back down on the 5th.
I wanted to go to DC and buke around the city and stay for the fireworks there, (did so in '92) but the wife is worried about the traffic. Leconte will be Great we'll save DC for later.

I may be doing 2 group rides and going to a movie. Scheduled to do a group ride at 8am. Go to a movie at 2pm. Then another group ride at 6pm. Should be a good day.
