Pedal Recommendation

My wife is just getting into road biking. I want to replace the existing clipless pedals on her bike to make it easier for her. I am looking to get recommendations for which flat/platform pedals to get for her. I don't plan on adding clips just some pedals she can use with her athletic shoes. So what would you recommend? Thanks.

I get that she is just getting into road biking but maybe something that has flats and clipless would be a good option.

Since she's just getting started use platforms until she gets used to the bike and learns how to really ride it.

THEN discuss clipless or different pedals later.

ERGON pedals have a well designed contour ,
your foot centers itself because of the shape,
traction tape in the center , rather than pins on the edges..

been using mine all year round, rubber boots or any shoe works fine.
