Got any good Saddle security ideas?

I have heard about getting star head bolts for the seatpost, I guess I would need to get one for the saddle clamp, too.

Anyone got any other ideas that seem to work?

Hal Ruzal's method with a bike chain inside some rubber/plastic tubing seem to be working very good. BikeRegistry.com also has a saddle leash. The best option will be to combine these two security methods (leash + bolt, and maybe a clamp for extra security if necessary).

I haven't done anything about my seat post but I have used Pitlocks for my front wheel and headset as I have a dynamo front wheel. So far it has worked

I have a super-thick 4-foot cable from Kryptonite with two loops on the ends. I run it through my front tire, and squeeze it through my saddle rails, and then both end of the cable attach to the u-lock.

Could you provide pictures of your locking method in the thread I have in my signature? Thanks.

If you used a tube seatpost, then you could use a loop of brake cable or similar
and run it out and around the saddle rails back in.
and then anchor it further down on the frame..

say a plug that goes well down to below a seat tube water-bottle boss,
and then a longer bolt will hold the plugin place..
