That's one thing I appreciate about hybrids. The top tube is lower.

Huh, my last hybrid had a super short TT compared to ST, so if I were to buy one of those I'd have sized up for proper reach, thus making higher TT. YMMV.

I've been riding bikes for about 36 years now and have racked myself on a TT twice that I can recall, though, so it's not a major concern of mine.

Almost seems like the guy in the video is trying to learn how to ride a bike on rollers, which is kinda backwards. You want to be REALLY good at riding bike on wide expanses of asphalt before trying to learn riding bike on 24" wide rollers.

Did the guy rack himself? Could you post the time? Vid is too boring to watch whole thing.

Here's a good ball buster, though:

its painful to watch just knowing the possibility of racking himself was very high whether he did or not.
he had a couple close calls which made me go ouch!

which is why whenever I see someone riding bike with a high TT it kinda makes me cringe.
I hope they're wearing a cup.

The guy in the OP's video makes a big mistake, but it isn't riding a bike with a high TT -- it's not using a doorway for learning how to use rollers.
