Recommend noisemaker to alert motorists.
Despite 600 lumens light and reflective vest, people are not seeing me as they pull onto main thoroughfare I am travelling.
Are there any loud noisemaking fobs or something that I could just press a button and blast them with as I get near they will know I am in the road?

Motorists are in a car, windows up, radio blaring. They are let's say 75' from your appliance while your ears are maybe 3 feet. Even given that the noise making appliance is somewhat direction, how effective do you think this approach would be?

Sounds right to me. Always better to ride like you're invisible.

The rider has to be more aware...nothing will help when a careless driver is concerned.

I put my hand in front of my light and then off like it is blinking when a car is looking like they are gonna make a turn in front of me. I'd also like to get a little strobe light like the Knog Frog. Some tail lights have strobe lights on them.

This is the problem I am having. People at stop signs/traffic circle onramps that aren't seeing me.
Gotta grab their attention somehow.

So, in a traffic circle with no shoulder, should I stop in the lane
in front of me.. just like the other vehicles.
you stop before entering the circle as a Yield ,
but not if there is a place to join the flow.
read the traffic code book.
Remember the Critical Mass motto: "I am not Blocking Traffic, I Am Traffic !"

I agree. I'd rather use an extremely high lumen flash light, on strobe, mounted on my helmet so I can point and aim, to try and secure their attention.

How is a role playing game supposed to help?
But seriously, I have used the Air Zound and, while there may be some motorists who are sufficiently tuned out that it won't work on them, it is loud enough that almost all will hear it. THe manufacturer claims 115 dB, while a car horn are often quoted as being around 100 dB.

I run a steady on the helmet and a steady and a blinking on the bar. Look at the drivers, the helmet light is effective. I think side lighting is very important. Try some bright wheel/ spoke lights. The circular motion is quite visible.

after you use that air zounds the wee tank is needing you to stop
and pump it up again.
there is a schrader valve to do so.
