Rode home through Humboldt Park fueled by soul food and pints of Guinness. Snowballed tires and spds but no stoppin' cause my bike is a tractor. Rode to work this morning and saw a lot of SUVs stuck in the snow.

Rode up to Humbloldt park to pick my roommate up around 1:15 a.m. Had big-arse ski goggles on and it was awesome. Peds/cars were futile, but on bike it was awesome.

dude, we took the #1 team in the country to OT on their home floor. and we are a terrible perimeter defending team. nothing to be ashamed about., here hoping wisky can finish what we couldn't.

The only thing worse than Ill-Annoy is their fair weather fans.
Am going to the iowa game @ n'western tomorrow evening.
GO HAWKS!!

Actually, as an Illini fan living in the Chicago area, I have to heartily agree with that statement. All the people who trashed the Illini up until now are, all of a sudden, big Illini fans now that they are #1. It's nice being able to keep up with them in the news, though.

I was raised in Central Illinois -- the Fighting Illini were the big heroes there. If it weren't for the St. Louis Cardinals, people in Central Illinois wouldn't follow professional sports (at least, people from my era).

Sorry to derail the thread -- just needed to get an extra two cents in!!

LOL -- Being a Cardinals fan in the Chicago area makes me a "popular" person during the baseball season. I have made quite a few $$ from Cub fans the last 15 years or so.

Sorry you had see the Hawks lose. How could they let one guy score 13 points against them in the last TWO MINUTES?!!!!?
