Need help identifying my Schwinn...

Hey all...

I know for sure that I have a Schwinn Prelude, but the only thing is that I don't know if it's an 1986 or 1987 model. I was doing some research and whatnot and makes me believe that this is an '87. Then today, I found four numbers on this Schwinn badge on the front and it reads "0097". Could this be a ID as to what year this is officially...?

Ask on the Classic & Vintage forum. If you supply the serial number off the frame also (I think it's stamped into the left dropout), someone will look up the exact date it was manufactured.

Or you could just look at the 86 or 87 catalog's https://www.trfindley.com/flschwinn_1...90/index5.html
