New Years cycling resolutions

Mine is to ride without a computer and just enjoy a bike ride for what it is.

I ride with an Iphone app cyclemeter because i used to obsess over the computer when I rode. Now my data is in my pocket to be viewed when I am done. Much more enjoyable.

It's already New Years Eve in my part of the country.

I'm already into a few tasty barley pops.

New Years resolution includes drinking more beer and promoting the benefits of cycling as well as drinking beer after a long day of cycling.

If you don't agree with this concept you are obviously a communist or one of those guys who ride a Brompton.

As mentioned elsewhere ...

New Year's Resolutions = none.

New Year's Goals, or Plans, or Hopes, however ...

I'd really like to ...
1) ride (cycling) a 200K, 300K, and 400K randonnee this year.
2) ride at least one 1000 km month in 2013.
3) generally ride more than I did in 2012.
4) travel more ... around Australia, maybe over to New Zealand, possibly into Asia again.

I'd also like to do a 24-hour Time Trial, but they don't have such things in Australia, so that might have to wait until the next time we're in North America at a time one is being held.

All that while trying to figure out what we're going to do and where we're going to live after about mid-February. Life is exciting, if nothing else!!
