If you have to have a head shock hardtail 29er from Cannondale, then your choices are limited..
Now if you want a 29er, but the brand is less priority , you have more choices..
maybe they pump up the price for the Cop version since the City pays from tax revenues.
... like weapons systems sold to DOD are inflated in price, because they can..

IMO, with pricing like that, it means either a) new model that isn't yet available and pricing hasn't been set yet, or since the LEO models are purchased in various quantities by various agencies, it allows for haggle room/bulk pricing depending on number of units bought at one time.
