yeah, its just an excuse for some graphic designer do draw a shiny CG bicycle
there is no practical value
I'm done with getting worked up over such sillyness.
Lookup hubless bicycles if you want to see more of the same vein though.

Ring lock... works with any saddle.
The Abus lock goes up front to secure the frame and front wheel.

Its better because they sell you a whole new bike.. in a country that is very low in theft of bikes..

I'm using an Axa ring lock , with a lock up chain, that works best with the lock
to be on the front of the seatstay,
unless the pole you lock the bike to, is always on the left side..

LOL That actualy combines a lot of things in one package! Imaginative concept design, limited engineering expertise and absolutely no target marketing knowledge.
But apparently those awards are all only based on the first item, and according to the rest of that article - there's actually a museum in Sinapore where you can pay to see 1,000 other potentially equally 'bright ideas'.
I'd like to say these guys are idiots, but after visiting a few museums and seeing what some really ridiculious (in my opinion) stuff is selling for - I'm starting to think that for the richest people in the world - the word 'practical' is offensive.

That frame is a terrible design. The front tube has a massive bending action right in the middle. That frame would have to be heavy.

Hmm. I wonder how the saddle would look like with deep Vs. I wonder if one side of the saddle will be firmer than the other side because of the locking mech. I wonder how stiff that particular bike is without any seatstays. I wonder how one would lock up the bike without laying it on it's side and in the middle of the sidewalk. Hmm....
