When you sell a bike for over 1k

SO if your on ebay and you sell a bike, or anythign in that matter for over 1k. How do you collect the money? Doesnt paypal have a 500dollar limit/month? Do money orders go that high? Can somebody clear this up for me?

Upgrade your paypal membership and there's no limit. They take a small cut from the payment, but nothing I've found to be too objectionable.

PayPal basic accounts have a limit. Premier and Business accounts don't (or if they do it's high). The first time I sold anything too high for my basic account PayPal bumped me up to a Premier account. It's been a while so I don't remember what was involved but it seems like it was pretty automatic.

you can always use a usps money order...very safe and the postal inspectors will come after frauds...unlike ebay who doesn't really care about casual users

ps i think there is a $500 limit per money order, you may have to use more than 1 on a big deal
