Kenda Breaker tires

Hey all, I'm new here and know very little about bikes. I have a 2004 Specialized Hard Rock Sport, and my tires were stolen a day ago. The thief (perhaps after a pang of conscience) returned to drop off his old tires, which was his big mistake. The tires were the above-mentioned Kenda Breakers. To my untrained eye, I don't know if they're mountain or street or whatever, so I figured I'm come to you guys for help (and thus my posting in the general area). I'm on a college campus, so I have a strong suspicion the guy was local, especially if he returned later with the other tires, so I want to track him down. What bikes come OEM with Kenda breakers (they're the version that say "anti-lek [sic]")? If you guys can't help, where can I go to find out this sort of information? So far, my searches have just turned up the Giant Cypress 2001 model. Are any other bikes outfitted with these when they're sold? The tires the guy left me are slightly damaged and given that he's stealing to replace his tires in the first place, I am incredibly inclined to believe that these he left me are originals.

Any help you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated and I would love to hand out some justice in the matter. Please e-mail me any responses at [email protected], or post here.

Mr ,Evil . OH im sorry I forgot you did not spend 6 years in evil Medical school to be called mister thank you very much!I am also a fan of The Austin powers movies. The lowlife who stole your tires may have replaced them before he stole yours. So Oem tires will not necessarily lead you to the culprit. He must have had a lot of time to steal your tires if they were on your bike unless he stole your wheels as well.I seem to recall there is some sort of lock available for axles does anyone else recall this .Alternatively tou could keep your bike with you if you have an office on campus folders are best for this.

Kenda is pretty low-end stuff. My guess would be a dept. store bike or bottom rung bike shop stock.
