National Bike Challenge - are you in?
Anyone else participating in this? The goal of this free program (presented by the League of American Bicyclists) is to encourage 50,000 people to bike 20 million miles between May 1 and September 30. Did I mention there are also monthly prizes? Our local bike advocacy group (Fox Cities Cycling Association) is working hard for our community to take the top spot. Check it out and register today at https://nationalbikechallenge.org.

I ride my bike to ride my bike, not for some challenge that somebody issued. Most of my yearly mileage is between those dates; but it sure wouldn't make me ride any more than I already do.

That is where the miles are recorded. You can enter them manually on the site, or add the app to your GPS enabled phone so the data uploads from that.
I started using Endomondo because that was the only place that had an app for the Symbian OS.
