Saw this featured on the news and wanted to share it with everyone.
Hector Pickard is a double arm amputee tri-athlete, cyclist and motivational speaker that has set out on a bike ride across the country to raise money for a boy born with no hands or forearms.

Not to knock the guy- but..... I'm tired of these types who have to do these Herculean feats. Darn... I'm more impressed when a handicapped person can simply make a good living for hisself, and if he wants to give to a charitable cause, can donate his own money. [Before people start flaming me, understand that I have a physical impairment myself. I don't feel the need to prove anything though].

I don't know, if someone can inspire and help others while at the same time doing something amazing, I think they should.

I don't feel this gentleman is out to "prove" anything except perhaps that we can all achieve incredible things regardless of our circumstances. The fact that he is doing this to help this child, I think is awesome.
He is in fact making a good living for himself without any excuses...

Nice story.

I can't feel angry about this guy since he's raising money for a Jameson Davis. I could have lost my arm two years ago in a horrible bicycle accident. After hearing about this baby's story, I can't even compare.
