Saddle adjustment question
Okay so I just installed a new, nice Selle Italia saddle and it still seems like there is more pressure on my left sit bone than on my right. It seems like I need to angle the nose of the saddle slightly to the left of the centerline of the bike. Does this sound right? Does anyone else have to angle their saddles to the left or right of center?

What ever floats your boat. Although I would see if the saddle is warped in any way (maybe get a bubble level just to make sure it is level).

Yeah, I rotate the saddle just a tiny bit to the right ride. This helps everything settle where it needs to be.

Mine isn't perfectly straight either.

There is a new topic for this kind of stuff, try posting in the "Fitting your Bike" topic for more luck.

John Cobb has a great saddle adjustment formula that I switched to after 30 years of the old fashioned way. World of difference for me. It does include an angle adjustment. |
