Goat pics
2 Attachment(s)
i do see the darndest things.
this is leroy brown and steve. leroy brown is the goat. steve is the spokesperson. says they are walking across america to raise funds for an orphanage in kenya. plausible. i had gotten off the bus before my usual stop so i could enjoy the morning coolness a bit longer and saw this guy with a huge dog wearing a packframe like a packhorse would. when i got closer i realised it was a goat and had to get a couple of pics. i donated $5 to the cause even though not specifically requested. worth it just for the pics. i stopped in a 7-11 for a slurpee and asked whether they had seen the goat. dude, they started hollering and a-screechin' that they had. then one said a guy had just come in saying he had seen a nekkid dude run around the corner and up the hill. i work in a facility school and the school's residence is just a block up that hill, so when i got to the school i called my bossasaurus and gave her a headsup on the chance that might qualify for a lockdown. she called the five-ohs and they came to see ME. i s'plained what i was told and a) one HAD seen the guy/goat {his partner hadn't. needs a new observant partner**, and b) the observant one knew the person. it is a woman who shaves her head, is schizophrenic, is homeless, and does this from time to time. how is YOUR week so far? |

i looked at the link and that is indeed them. that orange pack has really faded.

My week can't touch that. I work in a basement with a bunch of drug pushers. (OK, OK... hospital pharmacy.)
|
I've a friend in SF who often loads her goats up for hiking/camping trips.

Now come on and admit. Whenever you are bike riding and you ride by a bunch of goats and no one is around, you say baa to them.

Now that makes sense! Goats can eat the local flora unlike a dog that you have to haul food for...

Oh yes. I moo to cows, also. Sometimes even while other people are around.
i once cawed at a crow and next thing i knew he'd brought a bunch of his buddies and they were circling me, making a heckuva racket. i flashed back to 'the birds' film. after a bit they roosted in the trees around me and continued making the racket. must have disrespected the first one. i did continue making caw noises and eventually they flew away. |
