Suggestions for a new helmet
Considering getting new helmet as older one keeps coming loose now. I ride both Mt Bike and Road Bike as well.
Looking for idea of something stylish that would work good for both types of riding. A bit more aerodynamic looking but at same time not a full aero helmet as what guys use just for TT's
An all around good suggestion

I've been fond of the way Specialized helmets fit me. If you are not on a tight budget, perhaps look at some of the new MIPS helmets which use new technology to help protect against concussion. https://mipshelmet.com/home

Fit, style and price.
If you don't have a lot of helmet buying experience, you pretty much have to try one on to get the fit exactly right. Some heads are pretty much round when viewed from the top, some are more oval. Find a brand that matches yours.
Once you do that, it's pretty much a matter of balancing style with price. The better looking ones generally cost more.

Specialized has great helmets, if they fit you. They all meet SNELL certification in addition to CPSC. The differences from the cheapest Echelon to the top of the line S-works Prevail are weight and styling. The MTB version of the Echelon is the Align if you want a visor. Both weigh in the vicinity of 300 grams depending on size, which is still lighter than a lot of more expensive helmets.

my head was better fitting The slightly less round oval of Gyro, than the rounder oval of Bell.
