That is interesting, I will be interested to see if he can get it to market for his $500 price point. Currently the bike to electric conversion kits are ranging from $400-$2000+ depending on which one you buy. I would like to see a full set of specs on his system too.

There is a thread up in Commuting that talks about this product, as well as two in E-bikes. The one in Commuting contains a link to one E-bikes, which in turn has a link to the other in E-bikes.
