No, it's not. They are both once well respected bike manufactures that were bought by a different company and are now being built out of China. Apples to apples if you ask me.

Raleigh was bought by Huffy who then sold it to Derby Cycles. Masi was bought by Haro Bicycles. The comparison I'm making is they are just a name now, not what they once were.

Are they decent bicycles, yes. Are they as great as they were when they were created out of England and Italy? No.
