Hi all-

I just picked up this bike for cheap for parts and tinkering over the winter, but it rides rather well and I am not familiar with triathlon bikes so should I strip it or is scorpio respected among triathletes?

It looks like a plain-vanilla aluminum-framed road bike. It looks serviceable, if that's what you're asking. Clip-on aerobars don't make it a TT bike, though. What's it weigh?

Yeah that's kind of what I thought, the guy I picked it from used it for triathlons and the guy he got it from did too--hence my question. Not sure of the weight...no scale but it is lighter than my 17lb vintage steel racer.

Brand = something painted on a frame for a importer , the work done by a handfull of factories ,
under contract.

I wouldn't lose sleep over it, parts pick looks decent.. get it tuned up now at LBS, avoid the spring Rush.
