I came for the exercise.... I stayed for the fun.

I like to ride, need the exercise and less stress on my knees than running. I find riding a stress relief.

Why do you ride?
1) Because it's fun.

2) For exercise.

3) It's helps manage my depression.

4) Stress relief (kind of goes hand-in-hand with #3 above).

:)

Mental focus, exercise, feeling of accomplishment, and I love it.

To lazy to walk and running sucks. I only run away from danger and towards beer...

Aaron :)

I think you add a catchy beat to that and you got something that will rival "Happy".

Diabetes cure, general fitness, entertainment (fun & friends) and being outdoors.

I ride because I want to ride. Also, it beats trying to find a parking space and having to pay for said space if I go downtown.

Freedom.

I could find a few senseless reasons:

-to dry my hairs after taking a shower

-because i'm lazy and like to sit down while moving (public transportation is not guaranteed, driving works but the problem is the other seat in the car, having to share with someone annoying...nah too risky)

-to work out (running requires too much effort since i have to move my arms too. While cycling requires only to move my legs that's already too much effort :))

-to show off in front of the ladies every morning

-my neighbors has a dog that barks every time there is a cyclist passing... as a good citizen i like to wake up my neighbor :innocent:

-i couldn't find any more reasons to eat junk food

Improve my quality of life. I have lost 85 lbs. I am off my Type II Diabetes meds. I am off my depression meds. For the first time in my life I can call myself athletic. So many positives.

I'm just in it for the babes. Cyclists get all the babes. Unless they're babes, but not if they're straight. Or something. I hope I did the math OK.
