Bad Experiences With PI Shorts?

Has anyone had bad experiences with PI's cycling shorts, in terms of durability? I purchased two pair of PI's Elite In-R-Cool shorts this spring, and within 8-10 rides the seam was coming completely out of the chamois on both of them, and days later, the reflective strips on the sides, the rubber anti-slip bands on the inside, and the breathable mesh on the sides of the hips are coming off and/or tearing. I've heard some mention of the chamois stitching not lasting on these, but has anyone here seen this with their shorts? I've love to give them the benefit of the doubt, but if two pairs are this way, I don't suspect the third and fourth (replacements) would fare any better.
