Our tandem consists of two delta trikes that link together. I call it the "redundant recumbent." I'm sure that my other bikes have names but they haven't told me what they are yet.

I have a tendency to buy bikes used, so I often name them after the sticker designating the first or last shop that they were sold from...

1998 (match built) 60th an. Schwinn Paramount "Ketchum" (Idaho)
2002 Trek 520 "Appleton" (Wisconsin)
2005 Kona Dew Deluxe "Wallingford Seattleite" (Washington)

I haven't named my bikes.

I also do not have names for my telephone, computer, piano, refrigerator, ceiling fan ... and the list goes on.

My beloved Trek 720 from the 90's (that was stolen) was called Arabella (it was the name of a racing horse from a cartoon).

I don't name my bikes, though like cats, it's possible they name themselves, or each other. I have a feeling this one's been tagged "Rusty" by the others.

Not very ineffable, effable, or effanineffable, I know.
