Best ride yet except for the wind.
Decided I'd continue my training today for my first inter town ride. For me the big hurdle is getting passed the airport perched on Mount Olympus. I was orignially going to only go as far as the vineyard perched halfway up Mount Olympus but kept going. What amazed me, coming down off baby Olympus, the headwind was so bad that I couldn't get passed 32 kph... GOING DOWNHILL. Made it to the airport and felt great. Manged to break the speed limit going downhill the other way and topped out at 69 kph.
I'm sore but I feel fantastic. A bit more training and my trip to the next town is fast becoming a reality.

Headwind going up. I can't believe how much that slowed me down. Prolly not that much tailwind going down Mnt Unpleasant but the ride really put a grin on my face. Must have showed cause some of people in cars coming in the opposite direction were laughing their arses off at me.
Man, I gotta do that again soon.
