In my endless quest for a new commuter I came across this NOS Ti road frame, fork and headset for a song. She has what I think are some nice welds. I never thought I could afford I Ti bike. How could I say no? I've finaly gotten her built up.
NOS Ti frame of unknown orgin. Possibly Russian. 1024 stamped on the dropout. NOS Mavic Helium rear wheel and hub Mavic MA3 front rim Edco Champion front hub NOS DA RD 105 FD Used Campy Record Crank NOS 9 speed DA cassette Used Ultragra pedals Used Ultergra barend shifters NOS Campy seat post Used Campy Record brakes Used Forma bars Used SLR levers The used stuff I had mostly lying around, with the exception of the crank and brakes. That's awesome! It is so much fun building up a new frameset with stuff you already have laying around. I have a bunch of shoeboxes full of extra parts that I can't wait to use. I plan to do the same as you- build up a commuter style bike even though I cant commute to work. Hope you enjoy!
