A observation I made...

I find that a lot of stuff I discuss on the forums here is just random BS.

Actually that is the main reason I come to forums like this. It is random thots from people all over that I find interesting. It is rather amazing the things you can learn.

Yeah, but some random BS is fun!

It's sometimes fun to classify BS and make it less random. Other times the sheer randomness of all the BS, is just amazingly entertaining, all by itself!

After all, BF is just a microcosm of life in general. It's all about BS and how seriously we take it! I happen to take it very seriously, all while having a certain level of fun for entertainment.

I've learned to accept the BS as it comes and try to make the best of it. Most times the BS I add to the mix is appreciated by others. Sometimes, I just add to the mass and randomness of all the BS. However, there's one thing I can promise for sure. I'm having fun while wading thru all the BS!

There is a group of posters who think that every post should pertain totally to bicycling. They have a point. There is an opposing group who is much more liberal regarding content. The mods try to maintain a balance. The balance, I think appropriately, varies a little from board to board. Personally, I'm good with pretty much anything provided the thread title accurately describes the content.

This thread should be closed or moved as it has nothing to do with cycling.

Aren't forums the water-coolers of the internet with the added bonus of having something in common, in this case cycling? If the random Joe from accounting came up, the only sure thing you have in common is the weather. At least here, we have biking. And if you get into the more specific forum sections, the BS is less general.
