Specialized CG-R Carbon Seatpost

I was looking around a bike shop while on vacation, and the owner told me I HAD to try the Specialized CG-R CARBON SEATPOST. It was cool looking, but I was thinking it couldn't be all that. I did like the mount allowed me to put my seat back further. I thought about it for a few weeks, and decided to give one a try.

I did 15 miles on it tonight. I'm impressed. The road surface I feel in the handlebars is so dampened on the rear end now. LBS gave me a good price on one, and said I could return it if I didn't like it.

I'm sold. I'm looking to get a new Roubaix as soon as they are released, and most all of them come with this seatpost now. I'll be keeping the Crux.

Just FYI

glad to hear a plus on it. I'm not really decided on the looks of it though.

To be honest, with the seat pack on there you don't even notice it, and with a rider on there you can't even see it.

non carbon, the thudbuster offers a series of elastomers in weight of rider ranges ..

but you guys are wanting CF solutions & there is that (18mm of motion isn't much)

I think Trek's Domane frames are also trying designs to take out chip seal Buzz.
