Trek Bicycle Computer
I've done a search but can't find any info on the Trek Incite computers. This is what my LBS is recommending as a good inexpensive solution. Has anyone had experience with this particular computer?
Specifically, I am looking at either the Incite 9i or 11i. Both of these are wired. There is an 8i model that is wireless that I could also get. The 11i has Cadence and back wheel select. How is knowledge of cadence beneficial to me? I am fairly new to cycling. Any opinions? This is for my new Trek Pilot. Thanks. |
We, Donna and I use them on our bikes. She has the 6i on hers and I have the 8i on mine. The 11i is nice since speed and cadence pick up from the rear wheel. Cadence is nice to know especially when you're first starting out. New riders tend to ride in too big of a gear (lower cadence) which causes the legs to work harder. By using a higher cadence you spin the pedals faster and it doesn't work your legs as hard.
