SRAM X7 Barrel Adjuster

Hi, I recently bought a second hand mountain bike equipped with a SRAM X7 Shifter but I noticed the other day that it doesn't have a barrel adjuster, I googled the shifter and all of the other models have it. Where can I buy a new barrel adjuster from and how would I install it. Here's a picture of my shifter for better reference:

Thanks

I live out in the country so there are no lbs so I don't mind paying a bit extra for a new one, will it work though and how would I fit it?

ebay part shown is incomplete and will not fit

The barrel adjuster on the SRAM X-7 is different from the adjuster that goes with the trigger shifter shown in the picture on ebay. Nothing showing up on ebay matches. I have the correct one in my hand from the RD on my Catrike 700 recumbent trike. There are 4 pieces, not 3. What is missing is the final part the threaded piece screws into. This adjuster itself does not screw into the body of the RD. It slips into place and is held in place by the cable. No wonder it is possible to lose it when you replace a cable. Installation is simple: Loosen and remove the cable at the RD, slip the adjuster in place, and thread the cable back through the adjuster and into the RD body.

If you can find someone with a trashed X4 to X9 RD they can provide you with one. I have never had a positive experience when it came to getting replacement parts from SRAM, even when I went through a large Midwestern bike shop where I once worked. It took an entire year to get a pair of bearings for an SRAM multi-speed hub. It makes me avoid SRAM when I can.

The SRAM Parts book lists the part as SRAM Part Number 11.7518.006.000 but does not show a picture of the part itself. See page 28 of https://www.sram.com/sites/default/f..._spc_rev_b.pdf

Better idea - add an inline cable adjuster. Cheaper than any SRAM part and works as long as you have a section of the cable that has housing and is not all bare cable.
How it works: http://www.jagwire.com/images/upload...structions.pdf

Where you can get one: Niagara Cycle - Search Results for "inline cable adjuster"

If the one on your X-5 will slip into the opening on the body of the X-7 you are good to go. The SRAM parts list for 2013 and 2014 show the same part number for all the X series RDs. My guess is yes.
