Looking for info on "LeMond Saturn" bike

I am just getting into biking again. I'm looking for a comfortable, upright hybrid bike and have test ridden many, but don't want to buy a new one at $450-500 until I'm sure riding doesn't bother my lower back. I rode a LeMond Saturn similar to the attached picture, but more banged up. The asking price is $350, which comes with a 60 day warranty and 5 years of maintenance. It was a comfortable ride, but I don't know anything about this bike. Thoughts?

Quite often sitting "upright" on a bike WILL aggravate a bad back. Have you tried a road bike? You'll be leaning forward (the amount of lean can be adjusted) so the pressure, and bumps in the road/trail, won't bother your back.

That's kind of what I was thinking. Not an expert myself, but it looks like a rebadged Trek 7000 hybrid series. I have a similar paint pattern on my 2003 7500FX, so it might be around that same era.

the closest bike I found on bikepedia
was a 2006 trek 7100 or 7200

the 7200 msrp was $399
the 7100 was less
