Cycling a haunted road... At night. Has anyone done it?

I was reading an article today about the most haunted roads in the world. Ranked at #1 was Clinton road in West Milford, Passaic County, New Jersey.

Most people are saying how dangerous it is to DRIVE these roads at night.

But just out of curiosity, has anyone here ever bike Clinton road or any haunted roads at night before? If so, please share about it.

Haunted by my County's Yahoos throwing milkshakes at me, and the County Sheriff wanting to test my Breath at night.

Looks like plenty of people ride down it according to the Strava global heatmap!

Growing up, we rode in a large, old cemetery at night all the time. The residents never seemed to mind though.

Cemeteries are usually good neighbors. They're quiet, don't have drunken parties, and hardly ever take your parking place.

Black star Canyon Road is a local fire road with many haunting stories.
Hundreds? of natives were forced off a cliff back in the 1800's.
Horse thieves lynched and other myths.

I MTB it at night all the time. It's one of our few local spots allowing night rides.

I don't fear ghosts when riding at night, just the iPod and cell phone zombies.

I rode it at night, but did not live to tell about it. Sorry, you'll have to try it yourself.

I've ridden at night without lights, and that is pretty cool. I was touring and rode in the oncoming lane, and moved off the road when i saw a car coming. I'm sure sometimes they thought i was a ghost, when i did it in the early am.

Yes!

A woman in a white gown suddenly appeared above the trees, and hovered for a little bit, then, whilst her head spun in a complete 360 degree circle, spewed "Redrum!" in what sounded like Gaelic. Then she vomited pea soup on the roadway, and it was very slick and nearly caused me to wipe out, even with my great traction Schwalbe's.
