New Guy Here
Hello, Im new to the road biking fun and Im curious about my current bike. I have a 2004 trek slr 1500 that I have been riding for the past 2 months. Just wondering how this bike stacks up against a newer bike ($1500 - $2000) price range. It feels great but just wondering if its worth upgrading to a newer bike. I understand it really comes down to the engine (me) and have been working to improve every time I ride. Just wondering if the newer bikes offer anything over my 10year old bike. Thanks in advance for any input.

The only reason you NEED a new bike is if it is broken beyond reasonable financial repair or it is the wrong style for the type of riding you enjoy. If you WANT a new bike and find one that makes you happy then it is worth the money. Welcome to N+1 fever :)
