Biking is getting my legs ripped
By that I mean it's really building and toning my legs much more than I ever exptected.
I have gotten this bike for about a few weeks now, and in this time my legs have become more sculptured than some others I know who have tried to get it ripped by doing squats and lifts at the gym for months. I love it. I'm a legs man :D |
Amir, it's that hill that you hate!!

What are you riding, how are you riding? I wouldn't mind having some sculpted legs myself! There aren't that many mega hills around here to climb, but I think my new single speed will help me build muscles, with the lack of granny gears to go to when the going gets tough...

Without a doubt it is the hills.
I have been doing about 30 minutes total of intense hill climbing almost everyday (besides my usual ride distance), but wasn't expecting such results so fast. I can stand-up a lot better now too. I remember at first I wouldn't be able to stand-up on the climbs more than a minute. Now when a hill comes I put it into high gear, get my ass off the saddle and work it up at relatviely high cadence. |
