anyone know of a sturdy front rack capable of holding a small pizza?
Wald makes one, but looking for a prettier one to match my bruce gordon rear rack

The front rack on the Torker Cargo T is darn sturdy, although it may be a bit of a jury rig to mount it. . They are not sold separate, but you can probably get one from a Torker dealer near you. I don't know what it would cost as I can't log into my LBS's supplier atm.

addition: Basil also makes a front rack taht would match your rear(BASIL-FRONT CARRIER: http://www.basil.nl/assortiment_deta...=3&id=281&pg=7).

basil racks sold here

I see them here for sale: Basil Front Carrier Rack Salmon Orange

the color is close to the rear, however a bit too small. Pauls, Soma, and Velo Orange are nice, but they all have a front fence and would require the box to to tilted quite a bit to fit. I can already see a pie with half cheese and naked on the other side

Interesting option, having the rack mounted on the bars will surely allow for more weight, however doesn't that compromise the steering. Since the rack will be on my touring bike, I'd like to also use it for overnight tours. I like the look of the Pauls with the wood, think there is also a coffee holder option, but it surely doesn't come cheap, neither does the Soma or Velo.

The HALFrack is awesome. Cool website, too. That guy looks like he's living the dream. Good for him.
