BKool interactive trainer review

Well I purchased the black model (new version), earlier this month, and so far I have put 55 miles this month on this trainer.

I haven't explored all of the features such as voice chat, but I have imported some of my routes and ridden them to compare.

I will say the speed indicator may be off a tad on a downhill grade (50 mph doesn't sound correct to me on a bicycle, but it could be since I was in the Big/Small combination of big in front and small in back). I will, say the resistance climbing the hills is very realistic if not a little more resistance than what one actually feels.

Riding routes created by others, routes created by BKool, and being able to import and export the gps data is very cool. Also being able to watch someone else ride a route is okay for a bit.

I purchased this as we are hitting winter, and we always have ice which would prevent a safe ride and the darkness after work due to this being a very rural area prevents a safe ride (nobody looks for bikes around here).

I would recommend this trainer. You can plug the USB dongle into your computer and use the computer as your viewing area or even with a small adapter cord (micro USB male to full sized USB female) you can use your smart phone to control the trainer (Apple and android phones). You also can use various devices to use your TV as the display (net TV, Chromecast, and others that will allow you to download the app to the device).

Keep pedaling,
Dave
