SIOUX FALLS, SD -
The man behind an anonymous donation to the Center of Hope in Sioux Falls hopes to start a trend.
Last week, a man dropped off a gold bar and a letter at the ministry center. The donor wrote he wants the bar to benefit the Center of Hope's Bike to Work Ministry. The letter writer also admitted to putting gold coins in Salvation Army Red Kettles last year.
He asks people to donate to charity this time of year, whether it is money or time, as part an #anygift campaign.
The gold bar is believed to be worth about $1,200.
