Removing plastic from INSIDE the frame

So there's a little plastic piece from the chain holder thingy that snapped off and a piece went inside the frame. And now there's this soft ticking sound when I ride.I tried flipping the bike over and removing the seat post to see if it'll fall out but no go. Right now im considering removing the BB get that piece out but im not sure if its hollow down there or if its sealed. this is a 93 cannondale btw

Oh man, that sucks. I'd hate to remove the cranks/bb just to get some piece of crap out.
