I went last year and I’m signed up again this year. It is called a tour, not a race. There are very slow riders along with those who think it’s a qualifier for the Tour de France. You’ll see all kinds of riders and you can go as fast or slow as you like. There are many riders (can’t remember how many), but after the initial start they get spread out quite a bit. It’s the only ride like this I’ve ever done so I don’t have much to compare it to. I have family that lives there, so they coaxed me down last year. I highly recommend it, if you’re interested in that type of ride. Last year it was in September and the weather was perfect. They moved it up to August this year, so it could be a bit warmer, but we’ll see. See you at “The Sweetest Ride in Ohio”?

This sounds like a cool race, but after being off a bike for a few years, I think I would need more time to get in shape.

I went

I went for the first time, I placed third in the mens DD Challenge age 19-50 or whatever it was. I had a blast and I will definitely go back again next year! The ride started out hot and ended with cool rain, it felt good after sweating for over two hours... I would recommend this to anyone.
Cheers!
