M-25 (Eastern MI)
 

Has anyone traveled on M-25 along Port Huron in Michigan? Today I got on the road in Fort Gratiot and rode to Lexington. The shoulder was a beautiful 8 ft wide one both ways. So I was wondering how far North those wide shoulders went?

I have friends who road the thumb last year. Its been a while since I have been up there, but it seems to me that the whole thumb was like that. You can of course go to strava heat maps and see where people ride (and what they avoid).

North of port hope sucks. Nice shoulder, but the chipseal sucks till about granite city. Larger aggregate chunks makes the ride rough.
