Open Streets Detroit Did you go?

The third year for Open Streets Detroit. It was raining in the morning and barely made 60 degrees on Sunday . Didn't get there until 2pm. Wasn't much happening between Third and Trumbull.
It picked up Trumbull to 12th street. Most of the participation was I96-Livernois. I'd say it was a success even though street activity was slightly down compared to last year (by my observations). Going by the number of those using open streets for the 2 1/2 hours I was there ,I'd guess there may have been 3,000 total from 12n-5pm.

Spoke with a vendor from Pittsburg. Their Open Streets happen 3 times May,June, and July from 9am-1pm with 30,000 participating each event.

Did you go? What did you think?

Missed it again this year. I hope that there is enough participation to continue. If any pictures please share
