Anyone from the Des Moines area ?
 

Was just curious if there is anyone on this board that is from the Des Moines area that might be able to offer some advice on my routing of a 4-5 day bike ride or tour which will be making use of several of the numerous trails in the area. Would love to run some ideas by you in search of some constructive criticism. As always, thank you for your input.

I myself am a little more distant, over in the Driftless Region in SW Wisconsin south of La Crosse. Beautiful country to ride bikes in too, and challenging for the terrain!!

Thanks spclark, yes, we did a 5 day ride in your area this summer and yes, south of Dodgeville I was surprised at the hilly terrain.. We also spent a few days riding the Root River trail just west of La Crosse starting in Houston, MN which was beautiful.
