Lately I've been exploring a loop between Somonauk, Millbrook, Millington, and Sheridan, IL. Finally some windy roads that go up and down. ;^)

From Saint Joseph, MI about 50 miles NE of Chicago.

My wife and I ride together. We take our camper to interesting places with trails. Our favorite is Xenia Ohio, followed closely by Muskegon, Michigan.

Don't tell my wife, but she's getting a new Emonda SL 5 tomorrow. Her current road bike is a 20 year old Cannondale R500. She also rides a Trek FX 3 disk. I have two Treks, Checkpoint AL 3 Disc and Verve 3 Disc.

I am normally in Evanston, IL, but have been in Covert, MI for a few days. Rode down to Benton Harbor, past Rocky Gap Park, then to Coloma this morning.

Nice rides. We can make it north of Rocky Gap from our house. Pumping up that hill is something to look forward to. We often park at Van Buren State Park and ride north to the Kal-haven trail. Don't miss DeGrandchamp Farms for blueberries, it's just north of Covert.

Oh yeah. We've been coming here since the early 80s. We're working our way through a 10lb box from Grandchamps now. Will have to buy more on the way home. Polished off a DiMaggio's pizza last night. Prolly get another one in the next day or two.

Good to be with you all. Reporting live from Okoboji, Iowa. Lots of good riding around the lakes here, but I will be moving to the Twin Cities in the spring.

Downtown Benton Harbor. Main St. Next to Jerry Hunt, The Walking Man's Friend used car lot.
Lark's Bar-b-que |
You know the M*A*S*H episode where the Supply Sgt. says he's from Joliet, and would crawl on his knees in the snow for a take-out order of Adam's Ribs?
I drive from Kalamazoo for an order of Larks.

lol I tend to go out for the pies as I smoke my own pork. If they have a deep dish, I'll make it an effort the next time I'm on that side of the mitten.

I do my own, too. But every now and then I gotta run down there to make sure I'm doing it right.
Pork, beef, fish, chicken, turkey.. I do it all.

Welcome ridenrick! I ride Long Prairie Trail, so I looked up where Prairie Trail runs. Wouldn't it be fantastic if they extended Hebron Trail through Harvard and connected them? Happy Trails
