Any XC skiers here??
 

10 inches of snow here in SE Wisconsin will make a good base on the trails. Then the cold weather will allow Lapham to start blowing man-made snow (are they operational with that yet?).

Any other skiers on here?

Hey, I love biking, but you can't duplicate the workout on the trainer that you get by skiing on the lighted trails at Lapham at night!

I love XC skating as a winter sport but here in Norway we have had a freak autumn with very unusual warm weather. They have never measured temperatures this high in november so I put my studded winterbeater away and have been riding an old roadbike to work instead. Tonight (it gets dark real early now) I went for a 45 km mtb ride through the woods on soft gravelroads, it was 8-9 degrees celsius.
I am looking forward to gliding through our winterwonderland on a sunny cold day in february, not a lot can beat that.
