It's aham's own little club for riders that get more than 700 miles in one month. It's just another excuse for him to drink. If you are a member as well for this month...well then this one is for you.

Oh...BTW - trail riding with Cylowe97 and the inquisitors and the bruiser. Happy times. Trail dogs, pop, playground, crying, potty break, etc. Basically we got to ride bikes and got extra credit for giving momies time for themselves. Win-win.

8/31 - 100 miles... Wright Stuff Century, Mt. Horeb, WI

What a great ride!! This ride covered alot of the same roads that DD did... fun fun fun!! It was super hot , but we got out early, and ended early so that was good Great dinner afterwards with good beer.

For those who are looking for another VERY hilly century... this is your ride... and greatly supported

I think 30 miles today. My PowerTap doesn't read right when it's on it's Bike Computer function.
I raced the Tuesday Nighter and stayed in a hard break for a awhile, winning a prime with a [hopefully accurate] 38.6mph sprint. Too bad the prime was for $1.50
The pace was very fast, I love my carbon wheels.

9/2-26 miles. And I thought my 34.5mph sprint was the coolest thing ever

Good luck with next year's goal Mitch. Everyone has to have one grown by June 2009.

9/2 25.51 miles. It was a dissapointing way out of shape ride, i knew i could have done easily 40 miles but meh, left elbow pain and bad torso and back positioning = weak..., ugh.

Will try tomorrow for more miles, we'll see.

9/3-30 miles. Tour de Royalton. The first 14 were the most fun. I did some killer climbs-(more hills in my backyard than i thought), hit a new max speed of 50mph twice, and saw a gallardo which is unheard of in the burbs around here.

34.44 miles today. I felt fast, but didn't have tons of motivation to do any intervals, so I only did one 30 second burst. I still have to DL the powertap data.
I yelled at a school bus driver too, but in a rare instance, I showed a human side and let him off with a "Nevermind man, just please don't pass that close anymore, the other guys won't be as nice as me".
Oh yeah, 19.6 mph average with a good amount of climbing.

38.9mph last night. I win.
It seems that my PowerTap records alright in the computer-only mode, but it reads the wrong speeds.

So are you keeping the 'stache? If I win a big race next season, BF needs to all grow a m[o]ustache in commemoration of me.

P.S: I made an announcement HERE

are you still on for the Chicago Marathon?... is that you I'm thinking of?

racebrat is going to do Flying Pig in 2009... his first marathon I am going to be his trainer... ride by his side and feed him water The two marathons I did... during training... I would see these girls run the path and their husbands/boyfriends would be on their bikes next to them feeding them water every so often...... oh how I wanted that!! So I will be that for racebrat I will be his water-girl. I will ride next to him during his long runs and hand him water because I know what a luxury it is to have water handed to you at mile 18 during training (cause we all know fuel belts suck!)

i do think jose perez is doing it this year.

I need to get a passport picture, so it's gotta go. BUT... if you go to lorain tomorrow, I'll keep it around for one more day! If that's not motivation... I don't know what is.

wow!!, that was last year?!!... amazing!! time fly's. You should sign up for the NewYork marathon lottery. It opens in January and the lottery is in June. If you get picked... you run!!, if not, no go. If you sign up for the lottery and do not get picked 3yrs in a row, you have an automatic entry the 4th year. I got picked my first year. NewYork marathon is an amazing experience... I think you should go for it!!

Don't mean to interupt the marathon discussion (I don't run unless it's 'cause I'm being chased...or trying to avoid getting caught somewhere I shouldn't be) but

35 miles yesterday. Not bad for midweek on a rainy type day, I guess.
