Tour of Missouri help

I wanted to attend the weekend, but thought I was going to be away. As it turns out I'm open to go now. Is there anyone who can provide hotel lodging info for either the Saturday or Sunday portions. It would be myself, my wife and my 3 y.o. I know, it's incredibly late, but the opportunity surprised me. The St. Louis visitors bureau indicated completely sold out rooms downtown. I'm just asking to see if any locals have any helpful insight.

Thanks.

Find a hotel in one of the suburbs. Check in the St. Charles, St. Peters, or O'Fallon areas. That would put you near the end of the last road stage, which ends in St. Charles. And it's an easy drive into downtown St. Louis from there for the circuit finale.

Thanks, I do appreciate that. Would we be able to drive/park anywhere near downtown or would that already be restricted as race course? I'm guessing we'll head near the vicinity of St. Charles Friday night and stay about anywhere. Then, Saturday morning drive towards the "happening" area of where the tour ends Saturday afternoon. What, if you know, will the majority of teams be doing Saturday in S.C after the stage ends? It sounds like there will be quite a bit to do while awaiting the finish.
Any others have an idea where they'll settle in to watch the tour along the route?

There is a Rams game, Cardinal/Cubs double header, and the bike race going on downtown on Sunday. Go to St Charles for a room. Look near Hwy 70 and 270. Good Luck

Who the h#ll scheduled the race in downtown St. Louis when there's already a Cards/Cubs series going on (read: no hotel rooms) and a Rams game happening??

Chaos.

Sounds like a good opportunity for them to move the finishing race of ToM to scenic downtown Festus.

Here's another thought: You might want to check out the Westport Plaza area. Located at the intersection of I270 and Page, it would be an easy drive to both races. The Sheraton is right on the plaza, and the Double Tree and others are on the other side of Page. Many restaurants are within walking distance.
