these recent cool mornings...
i'll be doing the north shore century this sunday and with the morning temps around 45 and a daytime high of 62, i'm contemplating exactly which layers to wear.
i'm thinking of wearing a short sleeve baselayer, short sleeve jersey, armwarmers, and either shorts with kneewarmers or my bibknickers. i'm hoping that will be warm enough. i'd probably wear my cycling jacket, but the problem is what to do with it when the temps start rising and i feel the need to shed the jacket...

Jersey pockets. I will be wearing arm warmers but probably skip the leg warmers as the wind is out of the south, southwest which means a warmer 62 than a northeast wind off the lake that feels cold.
I am probably not starting until 7:30 so it will be warmer than a 6:00 am start as well.
