Weekend racing (4/26 and 27)
Realizing this is spread over a couple threads, who's doing what?
I'm in Whitewater Sat. for the first WiSport points event of the year.
I was working an angle with the wife to make the Sheboygan crit on Sunday but due to gas prices, racing Sat. three hours from home, and yard work (as well as a compromise to do the Neenah crit when it's re-scheduled) that one got nixed.
Let us know how it goes -- and John W. will have the video to prove it! (Speaking of which John, are you shooting off a tripod?)

It was between Whitewater and Whitnall pk for Saturday. Figured I would learn more at Whitnall park and the pain wouldn't last very long - besides it will count towards getting me out of Cat V and into the real races.....Cat 4-5
Sunday is the BFNIC classic in New Glarus, WI of course.

I'll be at Whitnall Saturday, Sheboygan Sunday, and the BFNIC ride somewhere in between.

I'll be shooting Whitnal and Sheboygan. Hope to get a ride in myself somewhere.
Yes, I use a tripod. It's been a bit sticky which makes the video jumpy. Gonna grease it this time!
My new camera should arrive this week: Canon EOS 40D
( https://youtube.com/watch?v=dbppTQfuJ8M )
6 1/2 frames per second baby!! So I can catch Recursive's next Victory just as his wheel crosses the finish line with a perfectly timed bike throw over the charging pack!!

I have certainly done nothing to warrant these expectations, but I still hope you're right.

I did the race in Sheboygan on Sunday. The good news is that I placed 4th. The bad news is there were only 16 people in the race, but it was fun.

Dave342: What catagory? Jersey? Bike? Helmet?
This photography stuff is tiring ... I'm beat. I had 6 hours and I only made it around the 1 mile loop once!
Great course though ... 1 mile of perfect tarmack with a nasty climb 500 meters from the end, almost to the finish line.
Sneek peek:
Cat. 2
Need food ... need nap.
More later.

Good to see Sprocket in there, albeit in a 10 man field.

A few more from Sheboygan (random pix):
I think they have a MTB race at that park later in the summer ... a MUST attend! It's a beautiful park.
