Paramount
Check this out, Schwinn has a 70th anniversary Paramount this year. I grew up with the Paramount as the ultimate bike, something that would never be in my reach. Now they are having Richard Schwinn in Waterford custom build 70 of them for the 70th anniversary. Man it is still beyond my reach.

If my bike shop starts to carry Schwinn again, I'm going to try to pre-order one if there are still some left.

They are only offering them special order through certain shops, and the base price for the frameset is going to be around 6000-7000 dollars.

I saw a gorgeous vintage Paramount frameset (sky blue w/ white panels and chrome lugs, I think very similar to this frame.) at the Madison bike swap last weekend. It was mint and modestly priced (I thought) at $600.00.
The new one looks great, too!

Which?
From https://www.schwinnbikes.com/paramoun...rve/index.html
The Paramount 70th Anniversary will be limited in production to not more than 70 frame and fork combos. Due to the limited edition nature of this frame it will be available only through select Schwinn dealers. When placing the order for your Paramount 70th Anniversary frame, you will work very closely with your Schwinn dealer through the entire process.

Appropriately, Schwinn will only offer 70 copies of the Paramount 70th Anniversary, and none of them will come cheap. You'd better sit down for this one: each frameset carries with it an asking price of US$7000.
