Sorry guys...

Totally lame to put this out there, but people have been asking and I have had little time.

Sorry for not popping in or responding to a lot of PMs very quickly. got a lot of issues going on. To top it all off i am sitting at Loyola Hospital with my son who is recovering from getting his tonsils and adnoids out as well as getting tubes in his ears.

He's out and fighting. literally. A lot like his dad . Thanks for the PM's and kind words. This sucks.

From a personal side, my son thought when you went in for the operation at the hospital you died. He told us this after he recovered. Talk about scary for a little kid!

Seen tons of those performed when I worked in an O.R. and all I can say is be thankful he's having it done when he's small enough to forget about it in a few days. And on the upside, you can totally be his hero when you swoop in and make him feel all better. Best of luck to you and little Psimet.

Best wishes. I know how rough it is to watch the little ones suffer, even a little. My youngest had the tubes put in and after a day or so, it was like a new kid was in my house..But the 1st hour after the surgery wasnt fun.

No its not totally lame to put this out there. You need one day off the trainer anyway.

My son had his tonsils and adnoids out when he was eight so most of here know what you are going thru. Best wishes to the Family.

Hope he is doing well.

Had mine taken out about 41 years ago. Still remember the Doctor (Gaunt - our family doctor, took out my Mom's tonsils at home on her kitchen table when she was a kid) and the hospital (Misericordia hospital in Milwaukee - no longer exists). I remember being wheeled into the OR filled with people wearing masks. Really wasn't that much of a big deal. It hurt but you got ice cream. All kids used to get their tonsils taken out.

But then I have discovered I have a much better memory than most people.

Tonsils and adenoids all at once. Ouch! Poor little kid. Hope he's eating and keeping down good stuff soon.

Thanks guys. He's not happy. He's a fighter and he's PO'd at us. I wonder where he got that from.

He says "thanks" for all the good thoughts. This has been a real messed up week.

Track his diet. My son lost alot of weight because he could not eat. Keep some Ensure shakes around. Make sure he maintains his weight. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
